Karachi, Sep 7 (Inditop.com) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Monday stated that its chairman Ijaz Butt does not utilise lot of the perks and privileges he is entitled to.
Reacting to reports that the PCB chief is enjoying huge perks despite working in a honorary capacity, the board said Butt does not avail most of them.
PCB has listed perks and privileges that the Chairman is entitled to, and those that are availed by Butt, a corporate honcho.
PCB chairman is entitled to fully furnished accommodation or Rs. 100,000 per month in lieu thereof, but Butt does not avail either facility.
“The chairman is entitled to a 3500 cc car with driver. Butt uses his own transport and driver even for PCB work,” a PCB statement said.
“The chairman is entitled to reimbursement of electricity, water and gas bills or Rs. 40,000 per month in lieu thereof, but Butt does not claim the bills.”
The board claimed that chairman also does not avail of the facility of four full-time domestic servants, including security guards nor has he ever lodged any claims for reimbursement of medical expenses for self or spouse, a facility he is entitled to.
The board also stated that Butt does not claim Rs 5,000 daily allowance for visits within the country, nor does he claim any business entertainment allowance.
The only perks that Butt avails of are his mobile telephone bill, his expenses on international air travel, hotel accommodation and daily allowance when on PCB work.
