Islamabad, Sep 9 (Inditop.com) Security threats twice delayed a meeting of the Pakistani cabinet that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was to chair Wednesday, Online news agency reported.

Quoting sources, it said the cabinet meeting was scheduled to be held at the prime minister’s secretariat but the security agencies expressed their concerns as they received information of possible terrorist activity in the area.

The venue was then switched to Parliament House and the ministers were immediately asked to reach there. As the ministers began arriving, the venue was moved back to the secretariat as security agencies gave their go ahead after searching the premises.

Sources said the interior ministry also had information about possible terrorist activities in the area and strict security measures were being ensured.
