New Delhi, April 2 (IANS) The government said on Thursday that more than 300 Indian nationals would be brought home from strife-torn Yemen.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted: “Another day….different city….same goal. Evacuation of Indian nationals from Yemen continues. INS Sumitra to dock in Al Hudaydah today.”
“Another 300 plus on the cards. Evacuation of 300 plus Indian nationals from Al Hudaydah, Yemen by INS Sumitra being planned for today,” he added.
An Indian Air Force flight with 190 Indians evacuated from Yemen landed in Mumbai on Thursday, while another 169 went to Kochi in Kerala.
