A man has been admitted to hospital in Chicago, Illinois after he was stabbed following a JAY-Z concert there on Tuesday night (08Sep09).
The rap superstar was performing at the House of Blues venue in the city, but after the gig ended the event descended into violence.
A pair of girls began arguing and after their two male pals joined in, one of the men was stabbed in the back.
The 20 year old was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital – his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Cops arrested the alleged attacker at the scene, according to SOHH.com.
Chicago Police spokesperson Gabrielle Lesniak, says, “The women were exchanging words and it escalated to a small shoving match. The men sort of stepped in and it… escalated to where the men got into the confrontation.”
