Baghdad, June 2 (IANS) A grisly video has emerged purporting to show a member of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group being burned alive by Shia fighters in Iraq.

The horrific execution of the IS fighter was also recorded as a film which emerged recently and was widely shared on social media websites, reports the Daily Mail online on Tuesday.
The prisoner was shown as partly-dressed with his hands and feet tied and suspended over a fire.
The execution was reportedly carried out by militiamen, backed by Iran, who are seen taunting the man while he was burning in the fire.
Known as Hashd Shaabi (Popular Mobilisation) units, the militiamen accused their victim of being a member of Daesh, the Arabic acronym of IS.
Shared on social media with the hashtag “burning a young Sunni” the gruesome footage appears to be a re-enactment of a propaganda video of a Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh who was burnt alive by the IS in a similar horrific video.
The brutal execution video of the 26-year-old Al-Kasasbeh emerged earlier in February this year.
Al-Kasasbeh was captured by Islamic State militants on December 24 after his F-16 fighter jet went down over northern Syria.
