BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Sunday confirmed that Rohit Sharma, who recently from T20Is after leading Team India to the T20 World Cup title in the USA & West Indies, will captain India in two major assignments next year-the Champions Trophy in Pakistan in February, and then the World Test Championship, where he hoped that India will win the final, scheduled to be played in Lord’s in London in June. Rohit will turn 38 in April next year.
