Puja Khedkar, a trainee IAS officer, has been asked by the government to halt her training in Maharashtra and report back to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration by July 23. This decision comes after reports of Khedkar seeking special treatment, such as an official car with a VIP number plate and separate quarters with adequate staff, which are not permitted for a probation officer. The matter began as a routine transfer case due to complaints about the misuse of power.
