In recent months, the international border along Jammu division in J&K became a hub for terrorist activity by foreign terrorists from Pakistan/PoK. J&K DGP R R Swain announced plans to seal it ‘inch-by-inch’ and upgrade village defence groups with semi-automatic weapons and night vision devices. As cold conditions approach, terrorists will find it increasingly difficult to operate.
