The opposition criticized the government after a video showing water leaks inside the new Parliament building in New Delhi spread on social media. Congress leader Manickam Tagore suggested forming a committee to investigate the leaks. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also questioned the quality of the new Parliament, implying that the old building was better. The new Parliament was inaugurated in May of the previous year.
