A Muslim man’s house in Bareilly was attacked and set on fire by a mob after he eloped with a Hindu woman. Police intervened, but their vehicle was also vandalized. Two FIRs were registered against the mob for rioting and against the man for alleged abduction, following the woman’s father’s complaint.
