An Israeli strike on a school in Gaza on Saturday resulted in at least 100 fatalities, according to the city’s civil defence agency. Mahmoud Basal described the incident as a ‘horrific massacre.’ The Israeli army stated that the attack targeted a Hamas command centre. Earlier strikes on Thursday killed more than 18 people and hit two schools.
