On August 15, 14 SUV owners faced a Rs 1 lakh fine each for illegally entering Ranthambore Tiger Reserve during an adventure rally. Twelve vehicles were released after the penalties, while two organizers’ vehicles were confiscated. The investigation is ongoing, and forest officials defended their actions against allegations of legal violations.
