City doctors in Mumbai removed a large 50-cm hairball from the stomach of a 10-year-old girl who suffered from severe pain and malnourishment due to trichophagia. Her condition, termed Rapunzel syndrome, required surgery and psychological counselling for recovery. The girl is now set to return to school with enthusiasm.
