The SIT investigating sexual abuse allegations in the Malayalam film industry recorded a Kozhikode native’s statement, accusing director Ranjith of abusing him at a Bengaluru hotel in 2012. The complainant presented evidence and claimed the director took nude photos. The SIT also recorded a junior artist’s statement about Edavela Babu’s misconduct.
