Rahul Gandhi met wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia amid rumors they might run as Congress candidates in Haryana’s assembly elections. The Congress Central Election Committee has finalized 34 candidates, with the full list expected soon. Phogat and Punia had previously accused WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh Sharan of sexual exploitation. The elections are scheduled for October 5.
