Ukraine’s bid to blacklist Russia over high-risk money laundering was rejected by India, China, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa during the FATF discussions in Paris. Brazil also opposed the proposal, which led to a delay for further evidence gathering. Russia’s FATF membership remains suspended.
