Pittsburgh, Sep 25 (Inditop.com) US President Barack Obama is looking forward to the visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Washington in November, which officials maintain will be the first state visit for any global leader under the new administration.

The US president conveyed this to the prime minister while formally welcoming him and his wife Gursharan Kaur to this city for the G20 Summit Thursday and Friday, officials accompanying the Indian leader said.

During a dinner for accompanying spouses, First Lady Michelle Obama gifted a purple-coloured exquisite porcelain tea set, which the White House says is one-of-a-kind that has been inspired by the ones used by President Abraham Lincoln in 1861.

The dinner was hosted at a farm that belongs to Teresa Kerry, the wife of Sen. John Kerry, and a member of the family that owns the famous Heinz ketchup. The greens, poultry and the meats served at the dinner were all grown and reared at the farm, officials said.
