Raichur (Karnataka), Oct 10 (Inditop.com) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday deftly tossed back a question on whether US President Barack Obama was the right choice for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
“How can I sit in judgement?” he asked in response to a question on Obama being for the award.
The prime minister was talking to reporters in Raichur, about 400 km from Bangalore, after an aerial survey of the flood-hit areas in north Karnataka.
Manmohan Singh said Obama had caught the imagination of the world and hoped he would usher in an era of peace.
“I have already congratulated him,” he added.
