New Delhi, Oct 11 (Inditop.com) Virender Sehwag and Dinesh Karthik smashed half centuries as Delhi Daredevils reached 170 for five against Wayamba Eleven in a Group D Champions League Twenty20 cricket match here Sunday.
Sehwag scored 66 off 42 balls, which included 10 fours while Karthik made 61 in 41 balls, hitting three sixes at his homeground, Ferozeshah Kotla stadium.
Sehwag and Karthik shared a 67-run stand after Daredevils were two wickets down for 45 runs.
Left-arm pacer Chanaka Welegedera and spinner Ajantha Mendis picked up two wickets each.
The Daredevils have lost their first match against Victoria Bushrangers.
