Ottawa, Oct 21 (Inditop.com) Canadian health officials Tuesday detected the first case of swine flu at a Turkey farm in Ontario province, making it the second country after Chile to report such infection in birds.
The outbreak will not threaten human health, as the birds have been isolated, provincial Health Minister Deb Matthews said.
In April, Canada became the first country to report the infection in pigs, Xinhua reported.
