Bhubaneswar, Nov 24 (Inditop.com) Orissa will soon deport 4,035 Bangladeshi infiltrators who have been living in 25 of the state’s 30 districts, officials said Tuesday.
The state government has identified as many as 4,083 Bangladeshi infiltrators during the past seven years and has deported 48 of them in a phased manner, a senior official of the state home department told Inditop.
A move is on to deport the rest of them, he said.
“The state government has also asked the collectors of the other five districts to identify any Bangladeshi infiltrators who may be living in their areas,” he said.
