New Delhi, Dec 16 (Inditop.com) The Lok Sabha was adjourned Wednesday when MPs from the Left parties and the Samajwadi Party (SP) disrupted question hour on the issue of price rise.

As soon as the morning session of the Lok Sabha began, the MPs, led by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, gathered near Speaker Meira Kumar’s podium shouting slogans like “Mehngai pe rok lagao (Contain inflation)” and “Yeh sarkar badalni hai (this government has to be changed)”.

The speaker asked them to maintain decorum and reminded them that price rise was debated on Nov 26.

“The issue was debated on Nov 26. What do you want now,” Kumar asked the agitating members.

However, the MPs continued to agitate, forcing the speaker to adjourn the house till 11.30 a.m.

As the Left and SP MPs were protesting price rise, the Telugu Desam Party’s members also gathered near the podium carrying placards demanding a “united Andhra Pradesh”.
