London, Dec 19 (Inditop.com) English singer-actress Lily Allen has pulled out of a charity show due to illness.

The “Fear” singer was due to perform at Mencap’s Big Noise Session at Exeter Castle Saturday but she was diagnosed with a severe recurrent throat infection, reported mirror.co.uk.

“Lily Allen is sad to announce that she will not be able to participate in Mencap’s Big Noise session this weekend,” Allen’s spokesperson said.

“She deeply regrets having to cancel her appearance and hopes that fans will enjoy the rest of the amazing bill on the show and lend their support to the incredible work done by learning disability charity Mencap,” she added.

Organisers said Lily fans could get refunds.
