Islamabad, Jan 6 (Inditop.com) At least three people were killed and 11 injured Wednesday in a massive explosion that tore the barracks of a military hospital in Pakistan’s Rawla Kot region, media reports said.

The injured were taken to the military hospital. Four of the injured were in a critical condition, Geo TV reported.

It was not immediately clear whether the blast was caused by a bomb planted in the barracks or a suicide attacker, DPA news agency said.

There has been a string of terror strikes, including huge bombings, across Pakistan last year, though this was the first major strike in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The Taliban had dramatically stepped up terror assaults after the Pakistani Army took them on in South Waziristan region.

One of the worst bombing took place in Peshawar Oct 28 last year when 117 people were killed in an explosion that ripped through a crowded market.
