New York, Jan 6 (DPA) Internet retailer Amazon.com is to sell the larger version of its Kindle ebook reader worldwide from Jan 19, the company said Wednesday.
The Kindle DX has a 24.6-centimetre screen and had previously only been sold in the US. The larger version of Kindle currently retails for $489 on the Amazon.com website.
The smaller version has a 15-centimetre screen and costs $259.
According to the retailer, 390,000 books are available to read on the device.
Amazon operates websites in the US, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, China and Japan.
