Beijing, Jan 9 (IANS) Twelve coal mine worker were charred to death in a fire in China’s Jiangxi province, authorities said Saturday.
The accident occurred Friday at the Miaoshang coal mine, a Xinhua report said.
“An initial investigation indicates the fire was caused by short circuit of underground cables,” an official said.
