Srinagar, Jan 10 (Inditop.com) The cold wave continued to be severe in Jammu and Kashmir Sunday as the mercury dipped in Ladakh region with district capital Leh recording a minimum temperature of minus 21.4 degrees Celsius.

“The minimum temperature in Srinagar was minus 4.6 degrees Celsius while it was minus 21.4 degrees in Leh and minus 17 degrees in Kargil today (Sunday),” an official of the local weather department told Inditop.

“In south Kashmir Pahalgam tourist resort, the minimum temperature was minus 6 degrees,” he said.

Cold, dry weather conditions are expected to continue for another four to five days, according to the forecast by the weather office.
