New Delhi, Jan 11 (Inditop.com) Delhi witnessed clear weather Monday but train schedules in the capital continued to be haywire due to the fog last week, with as many as 50 trains delayed by more than six hours.
“The weather condition in Delhi is better but not in other parts of the country. There is a heavy backlog leading to many delays and rescheduling of trains,” a Northern Railways spokesperson told Inditop.
Sixteen Delhi bound trains were running late Monday and three outbound trains – Northeast Express, Seemanchal Express and Bandra Garibrath Express – have been rescheduled.
In all, 30 trains have been cancelled Monday due to inclement weather conditions and of these 17 trains have been cancelled until Jan 31.
