Srinagar, Jan 18 (Inditop.com) The day temperature improved significantly in the Kashmir valley Monday, though the night temperature continued to remain below freezing point here and in the Ladakh region.
“The maximum temperature in Srinagar was 14.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum was minus 1.2 degrees today (Monday),” said on official of the weather department here.
“The day temperature has shown significant improvement in the Kashmir valley during the last few days, but in the Ladakh region, the minimum temperature continued to remain much below zero. The minimum in Leh town was minus 12.8 Celsius and in Kargil it was minus 12.6 degrees,” the official said.
The official said the weather is expected to remain cold and dry in the valley.
