Shimla, Jan 18 (Inditop.com) The temperature rose marginally in the lower areas of Himachal Pradesh Monday, while Keylong was the coldest place in the state with a low of minus 9.9 degrees Celsius.

Shimla again witnessed a sunny day but chilly winds early morning and late evening kept the night temperature low at 5.6 degrees Celsius, a drop of 2.1 degrees Celsius from Sunday’s, the Met Office here said.

Elsewhere, night temperature marginally rise.

While Sundernagar in Mandi district and Bhuntar in Kullu district recorded night temperature at 1.3 and 1.5 degrees Celsius respectively, it was 5.1 degrees Celsius in Dharamsala.

Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, recorded a temperature of minus 9.9 degrees Celsius, while it was minus 5 degrees Celsius in Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
