Washington, Jan 25 (DPA) Yet another aftershock rattled Haiti a full 12 days after a devastating magnitude 7 quake destroyed much of the capital Port-au-Prince and outlying areas.
The aftershock Sunday measured 4.7 on the Richter scale and was centred 30 km west of Port-au-Prince, the US Geological Survey in Washington said.
Dozens of such aftershocks, which peaked at magnitude 5.9 on Wednesday, have followed the initial earthquake and US seismologists said they could continue for months, or even years.
