New Delhi, Jan 27 (Inditop.com) There is a buzz that Seoul will be the next destination of 11th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards. Sabbas Joseph says nothing has been finalised yet but confirms that the South Korea capital is the front-runner.

“I cannot confirm that Seoul will be the next destination for IIFA now but I can say that it is the front-runner. The final decision will be taken next month,” Joseph, one of the three directors of the event management company Wizcraft, told Inditop over phone from Mumbai.

Talking about the highlights of this year’s event, he said: “There will be festivals and fashion shows. We have completed 10 years so there will be a build up around that as well. Interesting movies are lined but I cannot name them because of various developments. We are waiting for clarity.”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been missing IIFA events, was honoured with Star of the Decade award at the 10th edition of IIFA held in Macau last year.

So will Shah Rukh be there this year?

“Definitely Shah Rukh will be invited. We will make sure that all those who want to be at the event are there. It is unfair to say that so and so will be there. But everyone is invited,” said Joseph.

IIFA is an annual event that honours excellence in cinema and also creates awareness about the Indian film industry abroad. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of IIFA.
