New Delhi, Feb 4 (Inditop.com) After a gap of 16 years, India will release its emission inventory in May this year, Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh said Thursday.
“We will be releasing India’s emission inventory for 2007 around May 10 and will update it every two years. It will have data of how much of green house gases we are putting out in the atmosphere,” Ramesh told reporters.

As of now, there is official data till 1994 and soon we will have more updated information, the minister said.
