Kolkata, March 2 (Inditop.com) Two Air India employees were suspended Tuesday by the airline on charges of ‘misbehaviour� and alleged molestation of a nine-year-old girl at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International airport here.
�Complaints were lodged with the Airport Authority of India of misbehaviour against these two workers, following which they were suspended,� an Air India spokesperson told IANS.
The girl was at the check-in counter with her mother and was on her way to Boston via Frankfurt on a Lufthansa flight.
A baggage handler of Air India, Ahamed Reza, was later arrested by the police and the loader’s assistant, Binoy Sanyasi, was detained for questioning.
The incident took place at 1.45 a.m.
