Manchester, March 31 (Inditop.com) Indian pair of Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal entered the final of the women’s doubles defeating top seeded Jenny Duncalf and Allison Waters of England 6-11,11-8,11-4, in the International Doubles squash championship here Wednesday.

In the quarter-finals, they upset Dominic Lloyd Waters and Laura Briggs also of England 11-4, 11-9. In both the matches, the Indians were crisp in their drives. Joshna was once again lethal on the backhand side while Dipika played the perfect supporting role.

In the mixed doubles quarter-finals, Joshana and Harinder Pal Singh beat the Australian pair of Ryan Cuskelly and Meredith 2-1 to make it to the semi finals where they lost to higher ranked James Willstrop and Jenny Duncalf 2-0.

Chennai Open winners Saurav Ghosal and Dipika were edged out 2-1 by Nick Matthew and Allison Waters in the other semi-finals.
