Patna, April 8 (Inditop.com) An upper castes panel in Bihar wants a Forward Commission on the lines of Backward and Mahadalit commission to study the socio-economic condition of the upper castes.
“We will submit a memorandum to the state government soon, seeking formation of a Forward Commission (Savarna Ayog) to study the socio-economic condition of the upper castes, particularly Brahmins,” J.N. Trivedi, a spokesman of the Brahmin Samaj Rajnitik Chetna Samiti of Bihar told Inditop here.
Trivedi said the formation of a Forward Commission and its study report would help upper castes to force the government to initiate measures for their welfare.
