Bhubaneswar, April 8 (Inditop.com) Suspected Maoists have again sent a threat e-mail to Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, warning of orchestrating an attack akin to Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada massacre in his state, police said Thursday.
“The chief minister’s office has received the threat e-mail,” Sanjeev Marik, Inspector General Operations told Inditop.
The e-mail was received on the chief minister’s official e-mail address Wednesday, a senior official of the chief minister’s office said.
The e-mail was sent from plga.ocac.in, warning him to refrain from joint anti-Maoist operations in the state.
A similar mail was received from plga@orissa.gov.in March 27, threatening to blow up vital installations in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri. The cops probing the source of the last mail are still clueless about its source.
This is the fourth vicious e-mail received by Patnaik this year.
A similar mail was received on the eve of Republic Day. He had also received a vicious mail from the official e-mail account of newly-formed Central University of Orissa at Koraput in February.
