London, April 9 (Inditop.com) Singer Shania Twain will feature in her own reality TV show that will chronicle her attempts to revive her music career.
MTV.com reports that the hour-long series is titled “Why Not?” and will be aired on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
“The show will follow (Twain) as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures,” a press release said.
Twain’s return to the spotlight comes after some time away following her divorce from record producer Mutt Lange in 2008.
At the time, the singer released a statement on her Web site about the split, saying: “I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever.”
She last released an album, “Up!”, in 2002. And, while she has no immediate plans to release new music, she has said on her website that she is writing material.
