London, April 19 (Inditop.com) Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is tipped to share the stage with her mother Blythe Danner in the musical “A Little Night Music”.

Paltrow is being lined up to take over from Catherine Zeta-Jones as the leading actress in “A Little Night Music” on Broadway, reports telegraph.co.uk.

The producers are understood to be eager for her 67-year-old mother to perform the role currently played by Angela Lansbury, 84.

Paltrow has spoken of her stage ambitions in the past. “I look forward to playing Blanche DuBois [in the play A Streetcar Named Desire] on stage someday,” she said in 2008. “I’d really like to do a musical.”
