Piaggio, the company who owns the top brands in the world of automobiles like Vespa, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia has finally launched its own flagship store in Pune, Maharashtra. The concept store named “Motoplex” is a one stop store showcasing all the products under the Piaggio portfolio. That means Vespa scooters, Moto Guzzi bikes and Aprilia range of superbikes as well.

Now Pune joins the esteemed list of cities of New York City, Milan, Shanghai and Beijing as the only cities across the world to have the Motoplex concept store. During the unveiling of the store, Stefano Pelle, the Managing Director of Piaggio India said that the store is not just an exclusive Piaggio flagship store, but it is a symbol of the Piaggio way of life.
So if you happen to be a Piaggio fan and love their products, you can get to this store and gaze at their lovely marvels all of which are on display at this store. Now just that but there is a lot more available like accessories, memorabilia and many more things on display which you can buy. You can also buy the bikes and scooters here as the direct link to Piaggio and its two wheeler brands here in India.

On more questioning it was learnt that Piaggio plans to open more such stores in the future in India which means India is going to have quite a presence of Piaggio here. The future locations are yet unknown but there is a possibility that the next one might creep up at the national capital up north or else the biking capital down south either in Bangalore or Hyderabad.
Piaggio currently has the Vespa range of scooters here in India while it has a very limited number of Aprilia outlets in India. Moto Guzzi is not as established in India which Piaggio must be targeting with the Motoplex showrooms as it is a good way for the company to reach the masses by getting to the customers. India has one of the biggest growing two wheeler market in the world and the growth in the sales of high end bikes has been constantly seeing a double digit and sometimes triple digit growth year on year of which Piaggio too wants to have a pie.
