New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) The World Bank will provide a $100 million credit facility to Maharashtra to increase productivity, profitability and market access of its farming community.
Officials from the World Bank, the government of India and the Maharashtra government signed an agreement for the credit facility here Tuesday.
The credit facility will be for the programme, ‘Maharashtra Agricultural Competitiveness Project’, which is expected to be completed by Dec 31, 2016, an official statement said here.
