New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS) National passenger carrier Air India Thursday said it will connect New Delhi to Rajkot from Feb 23.

The airline said it will deploy its new 70-seater ATR-72-600 aircraft on the route and will operate flights six days a week except Wednesday.
According to the airline, Rajkot will be connected directly to Delhi and Mumbai with the launch of the new flight service.
“The flight will meet a long standing demand of the gold and jewellery market and also give a fillip to its industrial sector,” the airline said.
