New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS) The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will organise a five-day management programme for operators and regulators in October to enhance their skills and knowledge on different modes of rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).
The programme, to be conducted Oct 15-19, will include planning, network design and other operational fundamentals of MRTS and would enable participants to analyse the applicability of different modes of MRTS in urban transportation, a DMRC statement said.
The course will be conducted at the Delhi Metro’s Shastri Park training institute here.
“The programme will benefit professionals from the government and non-government sectors, managers of urban transport organisations such as Metro, monorail, suburban rail, BRT (bus rapid transit), bus transport system and technology and equipment suppliers to urban transport system,” the statement added.
