New Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS) Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge O.P. Saini Thursday issued notice on DB Realty managing director Vinod Goenka’s application seeking permanent exemption from appearing in the hearing on the 2G case.
The CBI was asked to reply by March 13.
Goenka’s counsel and senior advocate Majid Memon said that the business of his client had been affected due to attending the daily proceeding in the court. He requested the court to allow his application of permanent exemption.
He added that his absence from trial would not hamper the judicial process.
