Chandigarh, Dec 13 (Inditop.com) Haryana Roadways will add 700 new buses in its fleet and will run special buses to the religious and prominent places in neighbouring states, an official said here Sunday.

“Working in this direction, the bus body building workshop at Gurgaon has already been ordered to build 50 to 70 buses per day. All bus stands in Haryana would be modernised and more facilities would be added for passengers,” said Om Parkash Jain, state transport and tourism minister.

“There is a plan to construct a five-storey bus stand in Panipat and its construction would commence within the next six months. Efforts are on to increase the efficiency of the state roadways in order to make it a profitable organisation.”

Haryana Roadways has plans to run special buses to various religious places in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
