New Delhi, June 28 (IANS) Tourists coming to the capital during the Commonwealth Games will be able to use a hop-on hop-off bus service which is likely to be started by the Delhi government by Sep 15, an official said Monday.

‘The bus service will help tourists roam around the city. It will ply on selected routes divided in three sectors based on availability of historical monuments, markets and eateries,’ Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta told reporters here.

Initially, 15-20 low-floor AC buses will be run on the service and the number will be increased based on the response.

The government will start open-roof tourist bus service after the Commonwealth Games.
