Jaipur, Jan 30 (IANS) Israeli Ambassador to India Alon Ushpiz met Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje here on Thursday, with the aim to further promote mutual cooperation between his country and the staten.
“The chief minister and the ambassador discussed various ways of expanding cooperation in agriculture, water and renewable energy. They examined the activity of the Centres of Excellence in agriculture in Kota and Basi and other ways to deepen the Rajasthan-Israel joint collaboration in agriculture, focusing on the similar climatic conditions and challenges of the two states,” said a state government official.
The discussions also focused as well on solar energy and suitable water treatment solutions for the benefit of the people of Rajasthan.
Raje and Ushpiz also discussed ways to increase the number of Israeli tourists visiting the state.
