Kolkata, July 30 (IANS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who met union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh here Saturday, said the central government’s new land acquisition bill was ‘much more positive’ than the previous one.
‘Ramesh-ji has explained to me the new proposed land bill. This new bill made by Ramesh-ji is much more positive. I will give my view after a through study of the bill after a few days,’ Banerjee said after the over 40-minute long meeting with Ramesh here.
