Chandigarh, Jan 22 (Inditop.com) The Punjab government Friday approved a Rs.330 crore railway wagons manufacturing unit, officials said.
A government spokesman said the unit will be a joint venture between Amteek Railcar Industries Ltd and the US-based American Railcar Industry.
It will be established in village Sarai Banjara near Rajpura town, 40 km from here. It is likely to generate direct and indirect jobs for 1,750 people.
