New Delhi, Aug 23 (IANS) Elaborate arrangements have been made for smooth traffic flow for Raksha Bandhan, the Delhi Traffic Police Monday said.
‘Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements to ensure the safety of motorists on roads and to minimise inconvenience to the general public,’ Joint Commissioner (Traffic) Satyendra Garg said in a press statement.
Due to the festival, traffic congestion is expected in the areas of Delhi and New Delhi. The roads affected would be Wazirabad Road, Road No. 56 (ISBT Anand Vihar), Mathura Road (near Badarpur), Ring Road (near ISBT, Kashmiri Gate), Outer Ring Road (Prashant Vihar to Rohini).
